I was at Sam's Club in Bristol, VA today and then Wal*Mart in Abingdon...

My guess was that 1 in 3 were wearing a mask (including me, I have three 3M N95 mask). Most of the employees were either wearing cloth mask or the cheaper blue dust filter mask.

To their credit just about everyone was practicing distancing though.

One fella was wearing a ½ face mask with 60928 3M cartridge filters (red/yellow)...I talked to him in the parking lot and showed him my mask with the older round filters...Got a box of 'em years ago.

He asked where I got mine and I told him I worked in a Copper Smelter/Acid Plant for 12 years in Arizona. He guessed Morenci but I told him Hayden.

To show it's a small world he worked at the San Manuel Smelter about 20 miles South of the Hayden Smelter...after it closed he went to the Doe Run Herculaneum smelter in MO. Hell we knew a lot of the same people but had never met until a chance meeting in a Wal*Mart parking lot discussing ½ face mask. My grandnephew was with me and told me I was worse than PawPaw...he couldn't take me anywhere. 😊
