True. More evidence: a really big fancy house is a bargain in Blacksburg

The richest, most famous person ever in the town can't sell his mansion, and it's only 1.9 Million dollars after two price reductions.

There are several mansions for sale in Blacksburg that are cheaper than regular single family homes in SF, NY, DC., etc. It's the low and middle end of the market that is crazy, but that is the same as everywhere I have lived. Just more pronounced.
