Wow. Education Secretary just publicly CRUSHED Fairfax County Schools ...

in the COVID task force briefing. Based on a recent fairly incoherent interview I saw with the Fairfax County School Superintendent I suspect they deserve it but I was surprised to see Fairfax County singled out. She easily could have made the same comment about Loudoun County where I live - two of the largest and most well-funded schools systems in the Country and their 'distance learning' in the spring was an unmitigated disaster. I appreciate how difficult it had to be to go through that in just a few weeks and I am good friends with the IT director for Loudoun County Schools so I am familiar with went on in our county and it was ridiculous - things could have and should have been so much better. Praying for a better experience nationwide in the fall where in-person learning won't be possible.
