I trust published scientific articles


The /r/covid19 subreddit is a great resource thats totally science based. Most peer reviewed (or in peer review) articles say the published death toll is either fairly accurate or a slight undercount. When expert opinion converges, I tend to trust it.

And the great thing about science is that it changes as we get more information. If the scientific consensus changes, my view will change with it.
