Yes. We lost power for 5 days in Central Virginia during the winter. My


generator ran the heat, fridge, feezer, water/well pump. Also ran enough lights for 3 rooms. Won't do hot water. And for that I heated water on my gas grill for the wife to do sponge baths. I do not mind cold showers. I just like having the generator if needed.
