Uh, no. The profit from ABC is a very small part of the state budget.
$200 million in profits from sales in a $67 billion budget is .2%. Hardly enough to move the tax rates. If it were privatized, the sales taxes would be the same and there would be business taxes from private liquor stores that could lessen the impact.
The state could declare a monopoly on drywall and make even more money.
