Planning on passing my car off to my daughter in 4 years when she's 16.

Just bought a car last year (used '18 Ford Edge) when my Jeep died. I was really wanting a truck but a few things changed my mind...
1. Price. A nice truck with a large cab for the family is an insane price.
2. It wouldn't fit in the garage.
3. I've got to be able to lift my handicapped daughter into her seat.
4. Gonna need a car for her when it's time for her to drive and that goes back to #1, price. Couldn't afford to put down 40, 50 or 60 grand now and have to buy another car in a few years.

So my plan, even if my wife doesn't know it, is for her to take my car and I can get a nice used truck.
