How many flat tires do you get?

There was certainly a time when changing a tire was a critical survival skill, but I'm not sure that's true anymore (and probably hasn't been true for 30-40 years). Tire technology is way ahead of where it was in the 60's.

I think I've had two flat tires in 35 years. And on one of them, I had to call a tow truck anyway because the car was over a decade old and the jack that came with it was rusted solid.

Car I just bought didn't even come with a spare, just a can of fix-a-flat.
