You needed to drive it for several months to find & repair all of the factory defects from the assembly line...lol

The influx of Japanese automobiles manufactured using Dr. Deming's principles really changed the automotive scene in America. Eventually American manufacturers adopted similar measures to raise their quality standards.

Today it's very difficult to buy a "bad" car, and what people call bad today would be considered in the top 1% of cars from our childhood...lol
