The question is what else was there other than asking pointed questions.


UVA et al seem to claim it was more during the panel and following each step in the process that lead to this point. What was his demeanor during the panel? His behavior at the hearing of the Academic Standards and Achievement Committee? What were the "true threats" on social media?

It's hard to tell if there's a pattern of "erratic behavior" as the school puts it, the observers of this are many, but not completely independent of each other. It seems quite possible though, if the allegations aren't completely bogus, that the result is due to a number of very bad choices by him for which he is responsible for making regardless of the situation he found himself in.

It seems that's about what the judge has said so far.
