first conference and was gnats hair from being the B1G Commissioner. So he knows how to draw attention to football and use it to help other sports. Swofford's number one job was to get UNC and Duke on board for expansion. There weren't too many people if any that could have pulled that off. The plan in 2003 when the big expansion started was to build the football off of the two Multiple National Championship programs FSU and Miami. FSU had a couple of years under Jimbo, but for the most part over the last 15+ years did not do much on the Top 5 level. Miami has done absolutely nothing since joining. They just don't seem to be able to recruit kids to Dolphin stadium and unfortunately I don't know how you fix that with that long lease they are tied into.

The big question is can Jim Phillips help get FSU and Miami...yep I'll say it, BACK!!!! :-)
