I was a lawyer for over 32 years

So, my uninformed opinion on these "negotiations" is that I predict an 8 team playoff.

ND will stay independent.

We are at 4.

12 is thrown out.

8 is the settlement compromise.

BTW, what "sides" are negotiating with each other and which "side" threw out the 12 number?
