The game is suffering for a myriad of reasons

CTE is a large issue that CFB seems to be reactive on.
Player participation is lagging nationwide
The money in the game is off-putting.
Games are available everywhere. the market is saturated.

The south is obsessed still which will keep the fall from being incredibly swift.
