The romantic side of me wants to believe that there is still room for the


little guy to make his mark on the current game. Kinda like what VT did 25 years ago. Or what Boise did a bit after that. But yes, the deck is stacked against the have nots for sure.

And sometimes I think that junking tradition and taking the system where it desires to go might be best. Maybe an English Premier League style where big money talks. But there is there is also promotion and relegation to provide real merit and opportunity to the upstart. If you take a club like Leicester City, they weren't even in the PL 5 years ago, now they are near the top of the table with some of the elite clubs in the world

I know, different sport. But there is something to be said about the competitions of it all. Yet still, there is plenty of tradition there and plenty of money.
