As a fellow early gen-X'er, I agree.


Things were different when we were in that window of competing for a national championship. But college football has changed and so has Tech.

I changed my passion level after the loss to Boise. I felt like that was the last team with a true shot at a national title, and we weren't ready out of the gate that season. It was a crushing loss.

Love the Hokies. They will always be my squad. I just concern myself with the next team on the schedule and temper my expectations.
