Just my opinion......
but, a lot of food for thought in that article surrounding not only the situation but, also the aftermath. The article raises a very valid point about putting people in spots to succeed rather than to potentially fail. CJF also raised a valid point, in my opinion, in his response that players have to make plays in spite of the situation. However, where CJF failed miserably, in my opinion, was making that a public statement to the press as opposed to a private conversation with his back up QB. A seasoned leader/coach would have absolutely had that conversation with KK in private but, for public consumption he would have taken the bullet for putting his young QB in that position and not tried to wriggle off the hook with qualifiers or other BS. Terrible response to the press and just another data point in the ever growing list of strategic communication snafus by the staff and program.
