Like making a presentation with 5 minutes notice for one.
He knew in advance he was going to get a series in the 1st half. And regardless the MOST important responsibility for a backup QB is to be ready with 5 seconds notice, let alone 5 minutes.
Remember when Logan Thomas had to go in vs Miami when TT went down and he made a big play. Nobody gave him advance notice - and it wasn’t “destined to fail” (another non-fact by the author BTW upon which he proceeded to build his narrative).
There were several assumptions - and nonsensical ones at that - masquerading as facts from which he proceeded to develop a hypothesis.
Would I have done what Fuente did? No. Did Kadum make a bad decision? Yes. Is he the first QB to ever make a bad decision? No. Is it better he made it vs Richmond, so its seared into his memory rather than against, say, Pitt if BB goes down? You bet.
