I had the Geico app. You had to go in and select between being the driver

or passenger, though sometimes it had already selected correctly for you. Not sure how that worked.

On a positive note, after using it for 6 months, it deemed me an "excellent" driver, and reduced my next 6 month policy by $61. Not a bad deal. You also can uninstall the app after using it for 6 months.
