They watched the games and saw why they got laughed at. Lots of
parity, er, mediocrity, this year.
Regardless, they really just need UGA ahead of Cincy in case UGA loses to Bama. That way if Bama runs the table and UGA has one defeat, they can keep UGA ahead of Cincy and the SEC will be sure to get two.
And as others have said, this is a really important year for ESPN to look objective if they want to keep CFP.
