I don't want to see a guy get a percentage of donations because I could see

VT athletics donations skyrocket if we ever won a National Championship in a major sport. VT fans are very loyal but donations are not what you would expect for such a dedicated fan base.

Give the fans something to back and donations will soar. IMHO.
