Taught 2 days with a headache while following protocols and wearing a mask.

17 of 21 kids in the class caught it including my son. We had him tested right away and he was negative. Kept him out on protocol and 5 days later he developed a fever of 101 for about 5 hours. Tested positive during the fever but since he'd been around all of us (you segregate a 7 year old) we just all hunkered down for 2 weeks (including a 2 month old at the time).

He was sick for about 5 hours. None of our family nor ANY family member of his classmates caught it.

Explain to me how an entire class contracts the virus and associated mild disease yet not another family member of any of the kids catches the disease despite no safety protocols

Masks don't work. Many getting the disease have little to no symptoms. Some people getting vaccinated die from the disease. Many are hospitalized. Some have mild cases. The EXACT same can be said of the unvaccinated.

The point is, the mandate and vax shaming does not match the results. Same with PPE. We're all going to get this. Some are going to have it severely and die. The VAST majority of us will have milder cases and be ok. Let's not crush economies any further and ditch the whole "believe science" bs when science says it's a toss-up and the vaccine is not in any way, shape, or form a true vaccine like smallpox, polio, etc.

Get vaxxed and wear PPE if you (generic you) like. You're still almost a likely to catch and spread the Covid Virus as the unvaxxed. You're not better than them.
