Natural immunity provides fuller protection, however, to get it you must first get sick, which could kill you, so vaccines make sense to prevent it even if natural immunity is better. That's to answer those who will now say the CDC provided misinformation. As to why some health workers who had it were fired, I assumed that natural immunity also wanes, so they could get it again since they won't vax.
