The math is pretty easy. The vaccine still works with

omicron from people having to be hospitalized and preventing death. Our hospitals and healthcare workers are stretched to the limit. The more that people who get sick can recover at home safely, the better off everyone is during this crises.

Although omicron is less than a 1/3 or more as deadly as delta, it is way more contagious.
This is about the hospitals.

Plus, the immunity of infection wanes just like the immunity from vaccine wanes.

Just my opinion.
