Press break

The other night, late in the game, we were sending all 5 to break the press. Key thing, the more players we send to break the press, the more defense sends more players also. Passing lanes are shrunk, hesitation causes the 10 second panic. Lazy passes happen = turnovers. Defense picks up pressure and snowball starts rolling.

Man pressure = get ball to beat ball handler and let him go. Clear out. Bunching up creates traps = turnovers.

Zone pressure = spread defense in gaps, quick passes with created passing lanes. Bunching up creates traps = turnovers.
