The 3 additions will give the CAA 12 members and allow the conference to go with a North-South alignment for most sports to help reduce travel cost.

North: Northeastern, Stony Brook, Hofstra, Monmouth, Drexel, and Delaware

South: Towson, Hampton, W&M, Elon, UNC-Wilmington, and Coll. of Charleston
