Not disputing anything you've said nor giving any credit to ACC marketing,

but I have noticed ACC basketball games being carried by the local (Albany, NY) cable company. For example, VT vs Syracuse was on TV. Not huge ACC progress, but I did enjoy watching the game (except for the ending).
