The ACC was at the Verizon Center to start that yesterday.


I'm not sure fans in the area are going to get excited about Conference Marketing. I think fans gravitate to individual teams. UVA and VT really need to be doing the promotion in the DC area. Perhaps the ACC could help with funding.

In New York, Syracuse needs to continue to do the marketing of "New York's College Team" like they have been. Perhaps the ACC could help them ramp it up more. Also Notre Dame needs to push its brand there as well.

If you get the market interested in a team, then the conference interest will follow. I don't think the market will care about The ACC as an entity until they care about ACC teams.

I know this. I wouldn't want to be pushing Rutgers.
