Yes its next in line depending on who is in front of you.


For instance, there are numerous Japanese golfers that are ranked much higher than Scott (I'm using him since he is the lowest ranked alternate on the list). So if you look at the 2 Japanese golfers that are currently slotted for an Olympic spot, their alternates are all Japanese golfers. Essentially, those Japanese alternates can only get in if they jump one of the two Japanese golfers currently in. Whereas Scott only needs to jump the last guy in line (currently ranked 366) to get in since there's only one Zimbabwe rep at this point

And yes, BDJ is a virtual lock to get in at this point.
