If looking to expand a P5 conference with non P5

I think the best choice might be Houston. Sporting News gives their recruiting at 191.17, just above us (statistically equal) with all the other non P5 schools at under 170. Their stadium is adequate but nothing to brag about at 40,000

Believe it or not Temple's 167.58 it good for a non P5 school and they are using a stadium that seats 69,176.

everyone talks about UCONN, bu their Stadium seats on 40,642 and their recruiting is 123.67, the absolute worst in the American. Those numbers make me think that UConn might not be very desirable.

Cincinnati was 148.76 in recruiting but again just seats 40,000

Navy is just 134.34 in recruiting and only seats 34,000

Memphis is off and we all know why in recruiting, but they get to use the Liberty bowl and it seats 59,308.

Honestly if the Pac12 were looking to add 2 schools, I'd have to think if one politically must be Houston, that the second choice is Memphis. I had been thinking Cincy but have now changed my mind.

If the ACC wanted to expand, but the expansion had to be Cincy & Uconn, I now think the ACC should stand pat.

By the way in terms of independents (sporting News does not list recruiting there), ND's stadium is 80,795, BYU's 63,470, Army 38,000.

Also there is San Diego that plays in a 70,563 seat stadium, besides them the other Mt West schools are sadly lacking in stadium size.

So basically, if the PAC 12 wants to go to 14, they need San Diego and BYU, and that pretty much kills any options for the B12.
