WVU would bring value to the ACC IMO.


What the ACC needs is increased football brand, and WVU has it. They have built that brand over decades, and it has value to a conference like the ACC, who has built a strong basketball brand over decades.

The ACC is in the process of building a football brand, and FSU and Clemson are doing a good job. WVU could help with this in the northern part of the league in conjunction with Pittsburgh. I see value.

The Big Ten and SEC don't need football brand enhancement. They already have football brand. So WVU is not as valuable to them as WVU would be to the ACC. Whether those leagues want WVU or not is beside the point. The ACC could benefit from WVU's football brand.

I'm very happy with Louisville's contribution to the ACC. WVU vs Louisville is not an argument that means much right now.
