You are absolutely correct and glad you brought this up.

So glad you have engaged and expressed interest. It really demonstrates how you and Mr. Framer, the leadership, have the best interest of our business relationship in mind. I love to help and really think I'm offering you the best price and service possible and unless I'm really missing the boat you were very happy with my previous advice (work). Now I do have a document I'll need you (your leadership) to sign before I can give you any more advice. It doesn't change any of prior our contractual agreements, but it is something my lawyer advised as I got burned by a client, not so great as you, infringing on my intellectual property. It not as much what you communicate as how. Anymore and I'll need retainer.
