Unless/until something fundamentally changes equation, expect nothing


I suspect either TV will buy the small schools off with a couple million extra $$ per year to maintain the status quo until 2025 OR (and more likely) enough schools will find guaranteed safe harbor to blow the whole thing up before then. You can bet that every school is pursuing the latter behind the scenes.

I think the two most important things that have happened to date are 1) Boren presenting a lose-lose option on expansion and 2) TCU saying they're likely to vote no against expansion.
