The conference championships have not been accounted for yet

I look at it as basically as a tie breaker for teams with same record. Playing 13 is harder than playing 12 and it should be rewarded.

If Alabama wins they will be number 1.
If Clemson wins, they will jump osu to number 2.
Washington won convincingly. They will jump osu to number three
It will come down to osu vs big ten champ. Let's say psu wins. Psu will have beaten them head to head. They will have played an extra game and will get the championship bonus. Yes Michigan destroyed them. However, they played less games and do not get any bump from being conference champion.

All of this, I hope the results are a little different tonight. Go Hokies beat Clemson.
