More likely the NC legislature reining in UNC

it's hard to imagine a flagship university that promotes views that are more opposed to the views of average citizens of the state. The legislature of a state is elected by the people and reflects the will of the majority. When a school like UNC calls itself the flagship state U and criticizes the state legislature you have a problem.

Think about this in real terms. Some poor slob owns a vending business and works BoA stadium. His taxes help pay the salaries of UNC administrators that earn five times his salary. Those same administrators argue that NC doesn't deserve to host an ACCCG because people like our poor vendor have bad judgment. UNC takes a stand, and the taxpayer takes a hit.

Enough already. Keep athletics out of politics. we have politicians for that.
