16 team conference is too big, ND can stay independent.

actually 14 team conference is too big. There is already a problem of rarely getting to play FSU Clemson etc... Adding more teams is going to reduce the feeling of being in the same conference even more. And I don't think pods fixes this issue. I never liked the pod idea. Conferences are getting too big. 14 is tolerable, 16 may work but will increase the problems, 18 - 20 may not be sustainable, it is just no longer a conference. In conclusion, I am fine with ND staying where they are as an independent. Now if we could replace BC with ND, I'm in favor of that.
