If you are a self-employed man, need to hire 1 person, do you hire a woman?


It could be a tricky question if you also fully believe in equality regardless of gender. Are you a hypocrite for saying no women would be acceptable for the position because of the chance of false accusation of harassment? Just by saying that, does it implicate all women as false accusers, not to be trusted?

Would the argument be moot if you also point out that a male could claim harassment in just the same way?

(I was thinking about this because of an earlier post about someone's boss who wouldn't ride in an elevator alone with a woman.)
