Are all Chevys POS? (inside)

Bought a used Chevy Malibu a few years ago from Mrs Ffx's uncle. It works and is our 3rd car but:

- Car is 10 years old and paint is already starting to fade very bad
- If it is too cold ( under 40) the emergency brake is stuck and can't be engaged or disengaged.
- I've never had a car that needed 2 different tools to remove the battery. wtf??
- The jack storage\access. Seriously, it takes 2 seconds to remove the jack in a Honda but on this Chevy it is a is a rube goldberg masterpiece of over enginnering.
- The blinker broke - needs to be replaced. It works but if you turn left you have to manually do the blinker and if you turn right you have to turn off the blinker since it never shuts off.
- Part of the console dash panel is held on with velcro. Yes, velcro. - wtf??

So, is this par for the course for Chevys in general?
