I still love my 1998 Chevy Suburban.

I drove it as primary car from 1997 (bought new) to 2013, then sent it with The Boy (TB) to Blacksburg and he drove it until he graduated last May and bought his own car. We dragged a UHaul trailer to Blacksburg and back several times when we moved TB and The Girl (TG), who is there now, as recently as last May.

TB and I have been loading it up and making trips to the dump. It's one of his favorite things to do "Can we go to the dump tomorrow?" lol.

Anyway, I think we have about 185k miles on it. No major repairs except we replaced the alternator a year or so ago. Paint is still decent for a 20 yr old car. That thing can't be worth more than $1500, but it is worth so much to me. Only trouble is we don't keep up with driving it, so it usually needs a jump when we use it once/month. We've got to get better at that.
