As you state, as anchor tenant the deal is comparable in name. In reality, VT has a reasonable use agreement, does not hold the aquatic center revenue generating sources hostage and the center is no where near the financial albatross to Christiansburg that the Yum Center is proving to be to Louisville. Haven't seen a recent financial analysis of the operations but, early reviews all claimed it was a good example of a public/private partnership that worked for all.
