I have stuff, just one of those days where it dumps 2' then is 45 degrees..


which makes for good snow house building

so, not too bad when you're shoveling snow and getting/staying warm - steam rising from my wet clothes - doing it and my house is 30' away. Funny you should mention it though, just ordered a Filson set of trousers for longer hikes in cold weather like this, and a couple Flannel slacks, more for work but, still have the boy scout in me that prepares for a car breaking down on a country road somewhere. Cars are a lot more reliable these days but people depend too much on them working 100% of the time

or I'm just an old guy who remembers a different era.
