No, get a PC

I tried the "buy a mac" thing once. Once.

I thought I was getting something that wouldn't be buggy. That wouldn't freeze, or lock up, or slow down, and would do everything you expect it to, correctly, the first time and every time.

But alas, what I got was a computer that was every bit as quirky as a PC. The big difference is when a PC gets temperamental, I am at least decent at figuring out the issue and have no less than four friends I can call who are geniuses/experts with PC's for the rare cases I get in over my head.

When the mac decided to go wonky, my only recourse was to peruse message boards to try and find a solution.

So basically it cost more, behaved equally wonky, and was a PITA to figure out how to get it working right again. Oh, and most of the software I needed to use, the mac version was an afterthought and didn't work nearly as well as the PC version.

Not saying a PC is better than a mac, I'm only saying a mac is no better than a PC.
