Look for opportunities to apply it


If you can tell a story about something you did with it, built something or solved a problem or found a new use, then that is what sells people. Just pure knowledge is nice but not appreciated as much as a good story.

The other thing to always consider is your value to a company. If these new skills are not relevant to your job then they won’t care. And if a new job is just coding then all your previous other experience may be worthless. Consulting might be a good option. You could train on new marketable skills while also applying knowledge from your previous experience. Good luck.
