Question for those who like California, France, Australia, etc. wines.

How do you feel these Virginia Wines stack up?

I haven't tasted many VA wines since probably about 2001, and I'm sure the industry has matured and improved since then, but curious on the opinion of those who enjoy more recognized appelations.
