P5 conference. Unfortunately it's probably a po-TAY-to / po-TAH-to situation.

I usually give the leadership the benefit of the doubt but when the Big X?? keeps dwarfing the ACC's per team payout, Donna Shalala strong-arms BC and Syracuse into membership, schools like VT ink the kind of contracts they inked with Nike, UNC still hasn't been punished for flagrant abuse of NCAA bylaws or blatant indifference to the academic integrity of their own institution, and Louisville is getting wire-tapped by the FBI you have to reconsider.

Is it a case of the Carolina-centric leadership just wanting to throttle down change or is it just plain incompetence?

What an absurd vision they must have for the conference.
