Absolutely see some consolidation...


Devil's Backbone sold themselves to Embev (Anheiser-Busch) and the owner was very sanguine about the market: everybody can't be expanding. We're probably living in the golden age of variety and like any industry it reaches a point where everyone gets large again through buyouts or mergers while others go out of business. Enjoy while you can.

It's a strange thing, maybe if they stay small enough they stay under the radar, once they get larger they become a problem.

Read where Embev bought like 90% of the hops which is like the expensive ingredient in beer, since they don't seem to use it themselves, maybe F over all the craft brewers who need the stuff?
