Hasn’t that always been the case in soccer?

Granted I don’t really follow the top professional leagues and have only looked into some of the EPL’s history after Leicester’s run last season to put their achievement in perspective. Manchester United has won 50% (13/26) championships and only different 6 clubs have won in those 26 seasons. 4 clubs account for 92% (24/26) of the championships.
