Blackburn won it a few years after the PL began. But Leicester winning it a couple of years back was basically akin to Virginia Tech winning the National Championship in college football. College football has become the European soccer of American sports. I've wanted to bring that up in articles before, but I know very few people here watch soccer. But it's true. Only the absolute richest teams have a chance in soccer, just like college football. At least with baseball, a poor team can still do well because they have player control for 6 years.
