One misconception you have ...

College soccer is a con, not a pro.

Players between 18-22 in other countries are playing every day against top players and getting better every day. Our college players have limited hours and limited games, and they play against lesser competition than in other countries.

Breaking the American thinking of “college then pro” in soccer has been one of the big challenges of the last generation of the sport. Top players can’t be limited by college or even high school teams. They need more.
