+1 on upgrade - unless you go carbon you probably won't lighten the frame


by much (assuming your Trek is quality aluminum). You could spend far less on upgrades - esp if you've already upgraded the wheel-set. Your Trek should also have a life-time warranty on the frame - in case you did go out and hit the rough stuff.
