The problem is they adjusted the withholding tables back in 2/18


and people are not smart enough to realize they got bigger checks all year and thus their overpaying the IRS was less than normal. What people need to do is look at the line item Total Tax Owed, not what your refund is or what you owe the IRS, but people are not that smart.

Getting a refund means you very kindly gave the gov. an interest free loan for over a year, the feds thank you profusely. I owe every year and mail it on the deadline date.
